Adobe Creative Cloud anti shake filter

OK I have to admit I was pretty dubious about this one when I read about it.  For starters I don’t like the new subscription model.  Secondly, I didn’t think I’d ever need it.

However..on a recent shoot I changed lens on my D800 from my nifty fifty, which requires no micro adjustment, to my Sigma 70-200 which does require micro adjustment, and I forgot to change settings ( I’m a Nikon noob, my Canon would switch automatically ).  I ended up with a few blurries.  You could barely tell when they were downsized for the web, but I could tell and that was enough to really annoy me.

So I hid the blurry image away hoping I could forget about it, but then the model picked it as one of her choices from the shoot ( that will teach me to be more selective about what the model sees next time!!).  So I decided to give the anti shake filter a try.  To my surprise, it worked really well.

Anyway, its worth a go, I suspect like content aware fill your mileage will vary, but don’t discount it out of hand.
