The Fuji XE-2 is not ideally designed for nature photography. Ideally you want a fast DSLR with a 400mm lens on it. However, I thought I’d nip out on my habitual lunchtime stroll around the local pond and see what I could find. Mostly I missed shots, but this was due to me being more used to shooting models than birds. I did get these two shots using the autofocus and the 55-200mm which show how good the XE-2 is at focussing. Picking out small birds in a tree full of small branches is not an easy task and the fuji did a pretty good job.
