AF-C mode on the Fuji XE-1 was not great. In fact it was so bad I only ever used it once. When I got the XE-2 I initially felt the same way about this mode and rarely bothered with it, but I thought I’d give it a try on the kids this weekend when they were running around in the park. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it has improved. There are a couple of images below which were quite stern tests, involving rapid movement in one, and less rapid movement but a bright background in the other, and both times the AF-C mode did a great job. I do think I need a lot more practice with it though. These were both shot at f2 on the 35mm 1.4 at 1/4000 shutterspeed.
