I had the pleasure of shooting with Fiona again recently and the focus of the shoot was beauty shots. These are pretty easy to do with a model like Fiona. I opted to use continuous lighting so I could get a shallow depth of field and I shot both with the D800 with a 70-200 lens and also with the Fuji on the 35mm 1.4. What is quite interesting is the difference, it’s quite a subtle one, but the D800 image is softer and seems to have more depth. The Fuji image is very good, but in this case I prefer the D800. Here are a few of the fuji images first.
